BAKER LAKE BASIN SOCKEYE & OTHER OPPORTUNITIES
Our speaker for the next General Meeting this coming Thursday will be Tholen Blasko, the fisheries biologist for Puget Sound Energy working at Baker Lake. He is a past recipient several times for our yearly ESSC College Scholarship. Tholen will do a “Baker Project 101” for folks to get an idea of why we have the sockeye program and everything else that we do regarding fish in the Baker Basin. His primary focus will be Sockeye but will also talk of some other fishing opportunities in the Baker basin.
The club will be supplying pop and water for everyone and we would like people to bring simple "finger" food snacks, chips, cookies etc. for everyone.
